Profile

Presently, he holds the esteemed position of Senior Lecturer at the School of Computing, Universiti Utara Malaysia. Following an enriching span of seven years dedicated to advanced studies and professional development in Japan, during which he also served as a Postdoctoral Fellow Researcher at a prominent institution, he has reinvigorated his role within the academic sphere.

Furthermore, in line with the trust of the university's senior leadership, he has taken on a significant responsibility as the Deputy Director of the University Research Management Center. This diverse role involves supervising the university's research endeavors, leading strategic planning, and managing data at the institutional level to enhance research outcomes and rankings. These efforts are aimed at advancing the university's overarching goals and ensuring its success in the years ahead.

Leveraging his profound Japanese work ethic and knowledge foundation, he is poised to explore myriad potential research collaborations while demonstrating astute leadership. Through the application of his wisdom, knowledge, and research prowess, he aspires to contribute to the higher echelons of community service and leadership, thus elevating his impact on the academic and societal fronts.

My Teaching Philosophy

I perceive teaching as a dynamic performance, wherein while I endeavor to minimize my presence in the classroom, I acknowledge that teaching inherently carries a performative aspect. I enthusiastically embrace the task of simplifying complex concepts and presenting them in a captivating and comprehensible manner. Moreover, I am dedicated to pioneering inventive approaches to foster engagement within the learning experience. This pursuit of innovation is not only beneficial to me, but also significantly enriches the educational journey for my students. In the realm of education, the journey itself frequently stands as the ultimate achievement, and I consistently acquire new insights as I guide my students.
